Evan Gilroy, Employee Benefits Producer
LONGWOOD, Fla. (Oct. 11, 2022) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased to welcome Evan Gilroy to its employee benefits team as IOA continues to expand its West Coast Division marketplace. Evan’s focus primarily will be on growing the Southern California presence of IOA.
“At IOA, we don’t recruit to fill a certain geography per se, but rather look for strong, skill-based consultants that we can help grow. Occasionally, as in Evan’s case, we also fill in a territory and expand our market influence. Evan brings that talent, skill, and expertise we look for to provide strong support and guidance to our clients as they seek to protect their people and the vibrancy of their businesses overall,” said Employee Benefits Group President Chris Labrecque.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Evan has substantial expertise in helping clients navigate the many layers of employee benefits while developing custom solutions to meet their needs. His first 10 years were spent working for two of the largest writers of group insurance in the country. In this capacity, he was able to develop a great understanding of back-of-house operations relative to implementation, underwriting negotiations, and the complex claims adjudication process.

Evan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from California Lutheran University.
