Roy Edri

Roy Edri joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in 2024 as a commercial risk advisor. Before joining IOA, Roy began his insurance career at a major worldwide insurance brokerage before taking a role at a local full-service insurance brokerage, which was later acquired by Brown & Brown.

Roy specializes in partnering with and advising hard-to-place businesses, including but not limited to transportation, real estate, specialty trade contractors, manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors. Roy believes that every business is extremely unique, and thus must have a custom-tailored insurance program crafted to meet the ever-changing needs of the business, the industry, and the market in general.

Roy values partnerships with his insureds, taking the time to understand every underlying factor of each business, how the company is managed, and the overall culture and values. Roy believes that through such an elaborate, proactive discovery process, the insureds receive the best possible insurance coverage today and into the future.

Roy earned his bachelor’s degree with honors in finance and business technology from the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School. He also holds a commercial lines coverage specialist (CLCS) designation.
