We feel that not only is serving the insurance and risk needs of our communities important, but we also need to serve by giving back.
For Insurance Office of America, giving back is part of our DNA. It’s inside and out. We believe that social responsibility and corporate philanthropy are the cornerstones of a successful company and community. Our branches coast to coast are involved with local organizations and do their part to enrich their community and build lifelong partnerships. We have become successful because we have done our part for the communities we serve.
Internally, we have the Helping Hands program. The program officially started in 2003 when a producer thought it would be a good idea to have a fund to assist employees who needed temporary help of various kinds. in 2006, the IOA Pantry was tied in with the Helping Hands program and makes available grocery store gift cards to help with the purchase of food. When other agents heard about the program, they stepped up and set up a process to fund the program on an ongoing basis.
Our external charitable endeavors include, but are not limited to, children, education, health and wellness, animals, social services, entrepreneurship, mentoring, financial empowerment, and financial literacy.
