SYRACUSE, New York. (Feb. 17, 2020) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is proud to welcome Michael J. Tresidder to its growing team. Mike has been appointed director of surety, which is a newly created position, and he will be based in IOA’s Syracuse, N.Y, office.

Mike has over a decade of experience in the surety industry. Prior to joining IOA, he served as a surety underwriter with Liberty Mutual handling construction clients across Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Mike has a deep understanding of the marketplace and looks forward to working with surety underwriters and brokers within IOA’s national platform.

Mike holds the associate in fidelity and surety bonding (AFSB) and chartered property casualty underwriter (CPCU) designations, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
