LONGWOOD, Florida, Aug. 11, 2016 – Insurance Office of America (IOA) was named one of the winners on the Orlando Sentinel’s Top 100 Companies List.
For over 20 years, Orlando Sentinel’s Top 100 program has recognized companies across Central Florida that are committed to making their company a great place to work. Employers are measured on several qualities such as workplace flexibility, company leadership, career opportunities, community service, compensation, and benefits. The program acknowledges employers within three categories (15-99, 100-499, and 500 employees and above) to ensure organizations of all sizes are represented.
In addition to IOA’s inclusion on the list, over 20 IOA Corporate 5k sponsors were also named among the winners. The annual event and IOA have successfully made health and wellness a priority in corporate culture.
IOA Corporate 5k is an event that hosts over 18,000 runners and walkers (and 850 teams) and benefits the Track Shack Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization established to promote health and fitness. Considered Orlando’s largest office party, the event is held exclusively for Florida’s corporate community. Businesses, nonprofit organizations, clubs, and churches form teams and participate for camaraderie, friendly competition, and celebrating with co-workers.
