LONGWOOD, Fla. (Sept. 27, 2017) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is proud to announce sponsorship of its third event in partnership with the Symetra Tour, the official qualifying tour for the LPGA. The event, the IOA Invitational, will be played the week of April 30 through May 6, 2018, at the Atlanta National Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. The tournament will carry a purse of $100,000 with a winner’s payout of $15,000.
“The Atlanta market is very important to our company, and we’re excited to introduce our employees and clients to the wonderful athletes of the Symetra Tour,” says IOA Chairman and co-founder John Ritenour. “We’ve nurtured a great relationship with the Symetra Tour, and that has allowed IOA to add value for our clients and give back to our communities in now three important markets around the U.S.”
IOA is the first organization in the history of the Symetra Tour to hold title sponsorship of three events in a single year, according to Symetra Tour Chief Business Officer Mike Nichols. IOA also holds the title sponsorship for the IOA Championship and the IOA Golf Classic, which are hosted in Beaumont, California, and Longwood, Florida, respectively.
The Symetra Tour — Road to the LPGA is the of official qualifying tour of the LPGA and is in its 37th competitive season in 2017. With the support of its umbrella partner, Symetra, the tour’s mission is to prepare the world’s best young women professional golfers for a successful career on the LPGA Tour.
