LONGWOOD, Fla. (April 11, 2022) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased to welcome insurance industry veteran David L. Bridges, CIC, as head of its new Lawyers Professional Liability Group, which will be based in Atlanta, Georgia. David is joined by team members Elizabeth “Liz” Grice, Leslie Larkins, and Rachel McAnly.
“The forming of our new Lawyers Professional Liability Group is an important addition for IOA,” said IOA Chairman and CEO Heath Ritenour. “We’re excited for all that David and his team will provide for our clients. Their depth of experience in the insurance industry and understanding of business operations sets them apart from all others in the marketplace.”
David Bridges is a 30-year veteran of the insurance industry having served Fortune 500-level brokerages as a senior-level advisor for midmarket and large-market accounts with an emphasis on commercial real estate, manufacturing, hospitality, and professional associations. Prior to joining the insurance industry, he served as a chief operations officer for a major construction-related contractor, which provided keen insight into his clients’ liability concerns. David earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University, and he holds the certified insurance counselor (CIC) designation.
Liz Grice is a program manager and underwriter. She has been in the industry 21 years and began working with lawyers professional liability on the carrier side with The Hanover Insurance Group. Liz earned her Bachelor of Science in management from Cornerstone University, and she holds the registered professional liability underwriter (RPLU) designation.
Leslie Larkins is an underwriter and a 22-year industry veteran who has worked with lawyers professional liability since 2006. Leslie has developed workflows and processes and serves as liaison and renewal underwriter for key industry associations. Leslie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia.
Rachel McAnly is an underwriting assistant who focuses on handling surplus lines and invoicing for clients. Rachel brings considerable experience in providing a high level of support and operational assistance for the program staff. Rachel earned her pharmacy technology certificate from Rasmussen University.
