J.D. Rex, Risk Management Specialist
LONGWOOD, Fla. (February 22, 2024) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased to welcome insurance industry veteran J.D. Rex to its growing Western Division team. Based in Salt Lake City, J.D. joins IOA as a risk management specialist focusing on the transportation industry niche.

Before joining IOA, J.D. served as a transportation specialist at a top-tier brokerage where he played a key role in expanding its transportation operation in the mountain region. He also started a transportation practice at his prior agency overseeing acquisitions and growth, expertly addressing the unique needs of the region.

J.D. earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Utah, and he holds the customer relationship management (CRM) designation. J.D. is an active member of the Utah Trucking Association as well as the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA).
