Insurance Office of America will be sponsoring the Track Shack event Run Nona 5k, 15k, & 20k Challenge on Saturday, November 21. The starting line will be at the intersection of Tavistock Lakes Blvd. & Lake Nona Blvd. Come expecting an entertaining workout suitable for all ages. Every participant will receive a tech shirt and runners of the 15k and 20k are given medals. Overall finishers have the possibility to win the $15,000 prize money. Another great incentive for entering this race is the celebratory block party after you cross the finish line. By that point you have worked off enough calories to indulge in delicious 4Rivers barbeque with a refreshing Sam Adams and entertaining music. Track Shack has the reputation for creating epic racing events.
Since Track Shack and Track Shack Events was established in 1977, co- owners Jon and Betsey Hughes have been supporting charitable causes that aid to youth developments and athletics. They have created tons of events in the greater Central Florida community, primarily serving Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Brevard, and Volusia counties. Due to lack of funding many schools have unfortunately cut athletics programs. Track Shack aims to assist financially to athletic programs throughout the community.
