Chris Thurman, CLCS

Chris Thurman joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in 2014 as a commercial risk advisor. He serves a wide array of clients across multiple industries throughout the U.S., but the majority of his client portfolio extends to real estate and development, construction, and healthcare. Chris specializes in property and casualty insurance, workers compensation, cyber, captives, and bonds.

Chris believes that an extensive understanding of risk combined with an executable plan for mitigating existing or anticipated risk is foundational to building sustainable business success. His clients routinely reference his unique ability to serve as their strategic thought partner, helping them gain a comprehensive understanding of their risk as seen through the lens of their unique business needs and strategic objectives.

Chris earned his bachelor’s degree from Belmont University. He holds the commercial lines coverage specialist (CLCS) designation.
