J.D. Rex joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in February 2024 as part of its Western Division. Based in Salt Late City, J.D. is a risk management specialist focused on the transportation industry.

Before joining IOA, J.D. served as a transportation specialist at a top-tier brokerage where he played a key role in expanding its transportation operation in the mountain region. He also started a transportation practice at his prior agency, overseeing acquisitions and growth while expertly addressing the unique needs of the region.

J.D. earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Utah.
