John Ritenour

John and Valli founded Insurance Office of America on January 1, 1988, with three people and a vision to have an organization that gave ownership to the sales associates. The concept was embraced by the best and brightest insurance people in Florida. Insurance Office of America now has over two hundred twenty-five sales partners and over six hundred employees to whom John has given ownership. Under John’s leadership, IOA has grown from $188,000 in revenue the first year to $120 million in 2011.

John has been in the insurance business for 35 years and holds the Florida General Lines (2-20), Life and Health (2-18) insurance licenses in Florida and numerous out of state non-resident licenses.

John’s wife Valli has worked with him for all of the years he has been in the insurance industry. He credits Valli’s passion for customer service for the majority of the success of his personal production, as well as the success of Insurance Office of America. John’s ability to surround himself with some of the smartest insurance professionals has led to his success.
