Kip Bouknight joined Insurance Office of America in April 2020 as a commercial lines producer. Before joining IOA, Kip served as a vice president for McGriff Insurance Services, a subsidiary of BB&T Insurance Holdings, and a business insurance agent with BB&T. His start in the insurance industry began as a sales executive for Hub International.

Kip earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, where he was a baseball standout, later playing nine years professionally with five different major league organizations. He uses the skills he learned as a professional athlete‚ discipline, dedication, hard work, drive, teamwork, and more‚ in his approach to creating customized risk management and insurance solutions for his clients.
