Max McKay
Managing PartnerMax McKay joined Insurance Office of America in January 2015 as an employee benefits consultant. He went on to serve as a vice president and currently holds the role of managing partner for IOA. Prior to Insurance Office of America, Max worked at a national brokerage where he consulted for private equity, manufacturing, and hospitality clients. Max is passionate about using data and analytics to determine metrics to better improve cost containment strategies and to improve the overall productivity of the workforce. Data is the driver of any wellness initiative, and Insurance Office of America provides the tools needed to craft a bespoke analytical strategy.
In order to have a better understanding of human resource practices, Max secured the certified employee benefits consultant (CEBS) professional designation. The curriculum is administered by the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and focuses on group benefits, retirement plans, and compensation management. To better determine a holistic human capital strategy, a full functioning knowledge of all aspects of human resources is needed.
Max earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Liberty University.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE
Max currently holds a position at his local church as the Children’s Director. He enjoys giving back to the game he loves by teaching children the core principles of golf at the First Tee.
