Pelayo Carranza joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in January 2023 as a commercial lines producer. An industry veteran, Pelayo has helped west coast companies succeed by working with them to protect their assets and increase profitability.

Before joining the IOA team, Pelayo served as a senior vice president with a boutique brokerage in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a trusted advisor, Pelayo has been instrumental in top-line growth for companies of all sizes, including Top 10 brokerages. His expertise lies in the landscaping, food processing, manufacturing, janitorial, construction, and contractor fields. He also has served as a national practice leader for the hospitality industry.

Pelayo attended San Francisco State University, and he holds the certified authority on workers compensation (CAWC) designation.
