About Miguel

Miguel Gonzalez joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in January 2009 and serves as vice president of benefits for workforce solutions. With more than two decades of experience in benefits administration and customized third-party business process outsourcing, Miguel leads IOA in exceptional and enhanced client services. He has interfaced with a wide variety of industry segments to provide objective-based solutions. His applications have included project management for Fortune 500 and midsized companies in HR and benefits administration, financial administration, customer response management, document management, and metrics-based recruiting and staffing services.

Prior to IOA, Miguel was an executive at Hewitt Associates, where he managed an HR consulting, administrative outsourcing, and benefits management client portfolio. While at Hewitt, Miguel led teams responsible for over 100,000 employees.

Miguel earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida. He also holds several professional postgraduate certifications, including the healthcare reform specialist (HRM) designation.
