Don Poag joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in September 2000 and has more than three decades of experience in insurance sales, risk management techniques, and business planning. He has developed his own business plans and consulted many other clients in developing their business plans, expansion plans, retirement plans, estate plans, and financial development for bonding.

Don’s background as an entrepreneur and consultant has given him the opportunity to learn about many diverse business operations and has enabled him to provide insight for his clients into their risk exposures financially as well as those insurable risks. He is able to consult his clients from a perspective that allows them to understand the risk versus gain to determine their path to build a financially solid company.
