Agents often say they are there for their clients but neglect them when a bigger fish swims along. At IOA, we treat all our clients the same, no matter their size or how many years we have done business together.

We have aligned our compensation structure to be one that incentivizes client loyalty, client retention, and new business opportunities from client referrals.

 

 

Our agents have an real interest in their book of business, so their focus is on client loyalty and growth. The IOA team members that service client accounts also have ownership in the company through an employee stock program, emphasizing personal interest in client success. IOA is privately held, which enables us to focus on what’s important and not have to justify margins to shareholders. Our success has been the result of long-term relationships and referrals that come from our loyal customers. We are determined to take greed out of the business and replace it with long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.

Now more than ever, in a continuously changing insurance industry, we need to adapt to best serve our clients year after year. As an organization, we must see it, plan it, and do it to continue providing excellent solutions for our clients.

We have created an area called Think!Space. It is a birthplace for meetings filled with creative thought, visual narratives, and forward-thinking concepts. As a result of these meetings, many committees are proactively molding our current client experience, technology, and communication initiatives. We recognize that we don’t know it all individually, but we know our people’s talents shine brightest when working together. At IOA, we find our freedom and independence in an interdependent community of knowledge that ultimately serves you, our client.

Happy and healthy team members provide the best service. Even though we have over 1,400 team members nationwide, we are one family. We look for passionate employees who love their work and are entrepreneurial. At IOA, we provide a fun work atmosphere and opportunities for career growth. We engage in our team members’ success with a generous employee benefits program, retirement plan, and community time. We also have a Helping Hands program funded by our agents that assists any employee who may be struggling. How we serve our clients reflects how we serve each other daily in the office.

Our team

Insurance Office of America’s executive leadership team is comprised of insurance professionals who work in the business and on the business. Many of our directors are licensed and serve their client base by bringing value consistent with the organization’s overall goals. Our leadership team both solicits and acts on the input of our nationwide team members to shape and deploy enterprise strategies. The IOA Board of Directors is a testament to how committed employees who take initiative can grow into leadership roles.
