Bruce Eades is an executive vice president of Insurance Office of America (IOA) and president of USA Telecom Insurance Services, part of the IOA family of companies. He joined IOA in November 2002 as one of the founding members of the Gainesville, Georgia, office. He achieved the honor of being named IOA Agent of the Year in 2009. He was appointed to the IOA Board of Directors in 2010 and was named a regional president in 2012.

During Bruce’s tenure, IOA has experienced continued growth in revenue each year. His leadership has played a pivotal role in helping IOA grow to the fourth largest privately held insurance brokerage in the United States.

A veteran of the insurance industry for nearly 40 years, Bruce consults regularly with executives from a variety of fields to help them understand how risk management concepts can impact their business and provides a better understanding of the current commercial property and casualty trends.

Bruce has had a tremendous impact on the telecommunications industry, a focal point throughout his professional career. As president of USA Telecom Insurance Services, he is responsible for writing coverage for telecom contractors. He is active in the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) and is currently serving on the trade show committee. He also serves on the National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) Board of Governors and is the NATE Wireless Industry Network ambassador for the Southeast U.S.

Prior to joining IOA, Bruce previously served as the vice president of Hilb, Rogal and Hamilton, where he received the President’s National Sales Achievement Award each year from 1996 to 2002.

Bruce earned his BBA in business administration and management from the University of Alabama. He holds the accredited adviser in insurance (AAI) and certified insurance counselor (CIC) designations.
