Cole Howell joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in June 2015 as a commercial lines insurance producer. He participated in IOA’s mentor/mentee program upon its inception in 2017, where he learned to adopt a hands-on service philosophy, engaging closely with clients to manage claims, mitigate risks, and address questions directly.

As a second-generation insurance broker at IOA, Cole’s early experiences in the office—helping with certificates, policy reviews, and client interactions—instilled a deep understanding of the industry from a young age. His career has since focused on serving the insurance and risk management needs of design professionals within the architecture, engineering, and consulting sectors.

Specializing as a commercial lines coverage expert, Cole provides tailored solutions including professional liability, business insurance, risk management, loss prevention, contract review, and claims management. He supports hundreds of architectural, engineering, geotechnical, construction management, interior design, and consulting firms, helping them navigate complex risks and protect their operations effectively.
