About Curtis
Curtis Pancoast joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in February 2017, and currently serves as a vice president. As a seasoned insurance broker and risk manager, Curtis specializes in professional liability for architecture, engineering, and law practices. By leveraging longstanding industry relationships with his technical proficiency and deep understanding of industry-specific risks, Curtis produces tailored insurance solutions for his clients.
Curtis also serves his clients through membership in a/e ProNet, historically working as this exclusive organization’s editor, director-at-large, vice president, and now president-elect. a/e ProNet provides Curtis direct dialogue with the organization’s many carrier sponsors as well as opportunities to help insurance companies improve their products for their insureds. His deep-rooted relationships within the design and insurance industries give Curtis a broad perspective and a wealth of resources, which he uses to protect his clients’ private practices.
Prior to his insurance career, Curtis honed his analytical and strategic skills in the United States Air Force, working as a meteorologist in Pacific Command and Space Command.
Curtis earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from the Forbes School of Business at Ashford University. He holds the commercial lines coverage specialist (CLCS) designation from the Hartford School of Insurance.
