Curtis Pancoast joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in February 2017 as a seasoned insurance professional and risk manager specializing in professional liability coverage for architects, engineers, and law practices. He combines technical proficiency with a deep understanding of industry-specific risks to produce tailored insurance solutions for his clients.

As vice president at IOA Insurance Services, Curtis brings more than a decade of expertise in risk management and commercial insurance, helping design professionals and legal practitioners navigate complex liability challenges. Prior to his career in insurance, he honed his analytical and strategic skills in the United States Air Force, serving as a meteorologist and risk consultant for mission-critical operations in the Pacific Theater and Space Command.

Curtis earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational development from the Forbes School of Business at Ashford University. He holds the commercial lines coverage specialist designation (CLCS) from the Hartford School of Insurance.

Curtis also serves his clients through a/e ProNet, where he currently serves as president-elect. Having previously served as vice president, director-at-large, and editor of this exclusive organization, a/e ProNet provides Curtis opportunities to help insurance companies improve their products to better suit the needs of insureds. His longstanding relationships within the design and insurance industries give Curtis a broad perspective and a wealth of resources, which he uses to protect his clients’ private practices.
