About Deborah

Deborah “Debbie” Blanchard joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) with more than three decades of insurance expertise. She began her professional career as a part-time bookkeeper before being trained in every aspect of the small insurance agency, from personal lines CSR, to commercial lines CSR, surety bonds, marketing, accounting, agency management, and then eventually becoming a producer. Before coming to IOA, Debbie previously worked at two other insurance agencies in her career, including Olmstead Insurance, which was sold to BAC Agency, and Robert J. Hanafin, which was eventually purchased by IOA.

Debbie is very passionate about personal lines and small businesses, but also handles larger accounts as well as life and group benefits. Her greatest attribute is her customer service and follow-through on each detail, regardless of how small the transaction is. Being an insurance agent has been a valuable and rewarding career for Debbie, as she is truly a people person and has enjoyed developing relationships and friendships with her clients and carriers over the years and looks forward to continuing that for many years to come.
