Edge Motley joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in December 2021 as a commercial lines insurance producer. With nearly a decade of experience in the insurance industry, Edge is a dedicated and detail-oriented insurance professional specializing in real estate and construction. Edge was named IOA Mentee of the year in 2022.

Prior to joining IOA, Edge gained valuable sales and service experience helping clients validate certificates of insurance and review third-party contracts to identify gaps in coverage and ensure true risk transfer.

Partnership is an important concept to Edge and one he does not take lightly. His goal is to partner with his clients to help them grow their companies in a safe and profitable manner while mitigating the cost of their insurance without sacrificing coverage. In this respect, he considers himself more of a consultant than a salesman. His loyalty, attention to detail, and expertise make him an invaluable resource for clients seeking expert guidance in their insurance needs.

Edge earned his bachelor’s degree in retail management and small business operations from the University of South Carolina. His career path is inspired by his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, reflecting a strong legacy of commitment to the insurance industry.
