Jeff Lagos is the chief executive officer of Insurance Office of America (IOA). Having served for nearly a decade with Auto-Owners Insurance, Jeff joined IOA in 2000 as a commercial lines producer. He was elected to the IOA Board of Directors in 2003 and appointed to the role of president in 2008.

Since his appointment as president, IOA has experienced continued growth each year going from $70 million in revenue to $286 million EOY 2022. Of the top 25 insurance brokerages in the United States, IOA is one of only four independent, privately owned brokerages that obtains nearly all its increase from organic growth rather than through acquisition. During his tenure, Jeff’s leadership has played a pivotal role in helping IOA achieve prestigious rankings such as the Agency of the Year award and Top Workplaces USA as well as numerous other awards.

Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Central Florida in 1989, and he has held the chartered property casualty underwriter (CPCU) designation since 1995. In 2010, Jeff was inducted into the UCF College of Business Hall of Fame. He also is a board member of the Orlando Sports Foundation and a founding member of the Cure Bowl, an NCAA college football game that has raised over $3.88 million for breast cancer since its inception.
