Joseph “Joey” Zaino joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in September 2024 as a commercial insurance broker, bringing a blend of experience in both personal lines and commercial lines insurance, claims handling, and risk management.

Joey is proud to be a trusted advisor to his clients, ensuring the risks each business faces is properly assessed while providing the best coverage available in the marketplace. He is committed to protecting his clients’ business and helping them navigate the complexities of insurance with confidence.

Joey began his professional career at a local insurance carrier in south Florida, where he gained invaluable insight into what it takes to manage a small agency. During this time, he was able to consistently deliver results as one of the top sales representatives in Florida. He later joined a national insurance brokerage, where he specialized in developing personalized insurance solutions for private clients, catering to high-net-worth individuals and families.

With a desire to further expand his knowledge and serve clients in more meaningful ways, he became a licensed public adjuster in Florida, working with policyholders through major natural catastrophes. Through this experience, he was able to gain a unique perspective on the construction and legal aspects of insurance claims, where he was able to recover millions of dollars for policyholders.

Joseph earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida International University, graduating Cum Laude. He holds a 2-20 all lines insurance license and a commercial lines coverage specialist (CLCS) designation.
