About Max
Max McKay joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in January 2015 as an employee benefits consultant. He went on to serve as a vice president and currently holds the role of managing partner for IOA. Prior to IOA, Max worked at a national brokerage where he consulted for private equity, manufacturing, and hospitality clients. Max is passionate about using data and analytics to determine metrics to better improve cost containment strategies and to improve the overall productivity of the workforce. Data is the driver of any wellness initiative, and IOA provides the tools needed to craft a bespoke analytical strategy.
In order to have a better understanding of human resource practices, Max secured the certified employee benefits consultant (CEBS) professional designation. The curriculum is administered by the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and focuses on group benefits, retirement plans, and compensation management. To better determine a holistic human capital strategy, a full functioning knowledge of all aspects of human resources is needed.
Max earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Liberty University.
