Mitchell Steffen joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in June 2024 as a commercial lines specialist. Mitchell has substantial experience in insurance and risk management spanning multiple industries, including construction, manufacturing, fuel and propane distribution, and commercial property. Bringing both carrier and regional broker experience, he is leading IOA’s expansion into southeast Texas.

Mitchell functions with transparency at the forefront, bringing insight into the strategies insurance carriers use when considering each opportunity. With IOA’s proprietary RiskScore analysis, he guides his clients through the simple steps they can take to mitigate the risks associated with their business. In addition to helping clients keep insurance costs low, Mitchell works to assist clients in increasing efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining a safe work environment.

Through quarterly reviews, proactive claims response, business succession planning, risk management services, and insurability advice, Mitchell offers both comfort and professionalism for his clients.

Mitchell earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
