Randy Weissman came to IOA in March 2023, boasting an impressive track record of over three decades in operations and asset management.

Randy, an accomplished professional in the self-storage industry, spent 15 years serving as President of Storage Banc, a private portfolio successfully sold in 2014. He has also held significant roles such as Vice President of Strategy for Storage Rentals of America, Vice President of Operations for National Storage Affiliates (iStorage), Vice President of Operations for World Class Capital (Great Value Storage), and Vice President of Public Storage Pickup & Delivery.

Randy’s expertise in the unique insurance requirements of self-storage properties has led him to design and manage some of the industry’s largest and most profitable Tet Protection Plans. He specializes in property and casualty insurance and tet protection plans specifically tailored for the self-storage industry.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Randy is a founding member and former president of the Mobile Self-Storage Association. His contributions to the industry include writing articles for multiple industry publications and speaking at national and regional self-storage and mobile self-storage conferences, where he shares his insights and knowledge with other professionals.

Randy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri and is a licensed real estate broker and insurance producer.
