Ricky Choi joined Insurance Office of America in August 2023 as a senior advisor and leader of IOA’s Korean Practice, which focuses on strategy and business development specific to the community.

Ricky Choi has over two decades of expertise in the insurance industry, offering strategic property and casualty and employee benefits solutions for Korean-American business clients across the U.S. Before joining IOA, Ricky served as a senior vice president and Korean Practice leader for a California-based national insurance brokerage. He is a collaborative leader and advisor for his clients’ risk management as he helps them secure the insurance coverages necessary for their protection and success.

Over his tenure, Ricky has built upon his network within the community, working with such organizations as the Overseas Korean Traders Association, Korean American Chamber of Commerce, Korean Investors & Traders Association, Korean-American Hotel Association, and Korean-American Garment Textile Association. Ricky served on the board of directors for the Overseas Korean Traders Association of Southern California for more than 10 years and currently serves on the board of directors for the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County.
