Spencer Ely joined IOA in November 2022 as a commercial insurance consultant working in property and casualty. He specializes primarily in construction, manufacturing, and commercial real estate.

Spencer is committed to helping his clients identify and evaluate the risk management concepts that may impact their business. He assists employers with implementing proper risk management methods such as contractual risk transfer agreements, safety and loss control procedures, and by negotiating tailored insurance programs. This allows his clients to protect company assets while working to drive more profit to their bottom line!

Spencer received dual bachelor’s degrees in finance and marketing from Florida Atlantic University, where he also played on the men’s soccer team and served on the Interfraternity Council. He holds the construction risk and insurance specialist (CRIS) designation. He is a current board member for Gateway Community Outreach and previously served as a board member for the Independent Insurance Agents of Broward County.
