Tom Dorsey joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in October 2011 as a risk management specialist. With over three decades of experience serving his clients in South Florida, Tom specializes in insurance solutions for commercial real estate developers and hospitality clients, including resorts, classic boutique hotels, mainstream service hotels, and restaurants. Tom strives to partner with his clients to bring a total account solution that not only focuses on risk management and insurance, but also human capital and strengthening the client’s bottom line. His client base includes relationships that have lasted over two decades, exhibiting his commitment to providing a high level of service along with competitive and innovative solutions for his insured partners.

Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida International University. He is a former president and served 14 years on the board of directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of South Florida (IIASF), and served a three-year term as a director of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA).
