About Zach
Zach Robinson joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in September 2024 as a commercial lines insurance producer to expand the industry’s premier government contracting practice. In this role, he provides commercial risk solutions to government contractors and veteran-owned businesses that support our U.S. infrastructure and warfighters.
After attending the U.S. Naval Academy, Zach was commissioned as a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy and served multiple deployments in support of the global war on terror. As a junior officer, he managed warship operations in propulsion (engineering), force protection (security), targeting (intelligence), and damage control (insurance). He later transitioned to the corporate sector, holding various roles specializing in power generation, electric grid optimization, transportation & logistics, enterprise software & technology, and cyber security.
Zach earned his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and his bachelor’s degree in economics from the United States Naval Academy, where he played college football. He holds the commercial lines coverage specialist (CLCS) designation. He is an active member with the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and maintains an active Tour card with the Veteran Golfers Association (VGA).
