Zach Robinson joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in September 2024 as a commercial lines insurance producer supporting IOA’s leading government contracting practice. In this capacity, he delivers tailored risk management solutions to government contractors and veteran-owned enterprises that support U.S. infrastructure and national defense.

Zach earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the United States Naval Academy, where he played varsity football. After his undergrad, Zach was commissioned as a Surface Warfare Officer, serving multiple deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism. During his naval career, he held leadership roles in engineering, security, intelligence, and damage control. Following his military service, Zach transitioned to the private sector, where he held various roles focused on power generation, electric grid modernization, transportation and logistics, technology and software, and cybersecurity.

Zach holds the commercial lines coverage specialist (CLCS) designation and is an active member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). He is the founder and president of Topwater Contracting LLC, a certified service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), as well as an advisor and investor in the defense technology sector.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Zach maintains a Tour Card with the Veteran Golfers Association (VGA) and volunteers as a guitar instructor with Guitars4Vets (G4V), supporting fellow veterans through music therapy.
