John Tenuto, Executive Vice President
LONGWOOD, Fla. (October 19, 2023) – Insurance Office of America (IOA) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Tenuto to the role of executive vice president of Enterprise Initiatives. The promotion represents a path of continued growth in leadership for John as he progresses from president of the Western Division to this national role in IOA.

John founded the first California branch office for IOA when he joined the organization in 2005. Now, he will take on a role that has a broad impact companywide as he provides executive support for the strategic objectives of IOA’s industry and product practices, risk services, and producer support initiatives. He also will continue his role on the IOA Board of Directors, while leveraging his extensive leadership experience to help support the development of both existing and emerging IOA leaders.

John began his insurance career in 1985 and founded his own agency by 1994, which was later acquired by a prominent firm in 2001. He went on to develop his expertise as he served with several top-tier brokerages in both Northern and Southern California. As a practicing insurance producer, John focuses on providing his clients with best-in-class property and casualty risk management and insurance solutions, specializing in design- and construction-related firms.
John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from California State University, and he has been a frequent speaker for various industry loss prevention and risk management seminars for more than two decades.
