In this role, Nick will provide executive leadership across benefits strategy, growth, and operations, with a strong focus on driving long-term vision, revenue, and client retention.
“At IOA, our clients are at the center of everything we do, and that’s why we’re excited to have a professional of Nick’s caliber join our team,” said IOA Chief Executive Officer Jeff Lagos. “His depth of knowledge and people-first approach to employee benefits means our clients will have the guidance and confidence they need to protect their people and move their businesses forward.”
Partnering closely with producers and leadership, Nick will further build on IOA’s innovative, high-impact solutions that drive business growth and deliver consistent value to clients. His career has been defined by creating and scaling centers of excellence, developing self-insured and alternative funding models, and partnering with producers, client experience teams and employers on programs ranging from small-group benefit strategy to complex enterprise solutions.
“Serving clients well is what this work is all about, and it’s what drew me to IOA,” said Nick. “IOA has built a tremendous reputation on the strength of its client relationships and the expertise of its people. My focus will be on making sure every client we serve has access to the most advanced, effective benefits solutions available. Together, we can work to improve the employee experience, continue to drive innovation, and work toward the common goal of lowering the cost of care for employers and their members. I couldn’t be more excited to get to work.”
A recognized industry speaker and trusted advisor on healthcare and pharmacy strategy, Nick serves on advisory boards spanning pharmacy benefit managers, carriers, health systems, and digital health platforms.
