Charles “Chad” Dorsey, CIC, CRIS, joined Insurance Office of America in March 2022 as a commercial lines producer. A fourth-generation insurance agent, Chad has nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry, most recently as a senior vice president with a Top 10 insurance brokerage, where he initially managed the personal lines operations and portfolios before focusing on hospitality and overseeing a vacation resort specialty division in Palm Beach, Florida. His steadfast work ethic allowed him to establish strong relationships with legacy resort operators in South Florida, eventually growing the hospitality portfolio to more than 50 resort properties nationwide.

Chad is joined by his father, Ray Dorsey, and his brother, Jed Dorsey, in overseeing their clients’ insurance programs, providing competitive insurance products and risk management solutions. This special family tradition dates back to Chad’s great-grandfather in the 1920s, which makes the relationships of his team some of the deepest and most unique in the industry.

Chad earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Mississippi College. He also holds the certified insurance counselor (CIC) and construction risk insurance specialist (CRIS) designations.
