About Andy

Andy Lott joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in May 2005 and now serves as a regional president. Andy helped open IOA’s Birmingham, Alabama, office location, and since that time, the location has grown to about 60 people and has won Branch of the Year twice. He is also a managing partner of IOA’s proprietary insurance process called RiskScore®, which is designed to act like a credit score for insurance.

Andy works closely with businesses to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement and help develop a customized risk management plan that focuses on safety for the business and its employees. He create partnerships with the top insurance carriers in the market and works with them to build better solutions and comprehensive coverages for businesses. Over the years, he has been the insurance agent for several “major” entities with premiums in excess of $5 million. He has experience with large deductible, self-insured, and captive insurance programs. Additionally, Andy has represented clients with sizable auto/truck fleets.

Andy earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama.
