John Tenuto is executive vice president of Enterprise Initiatives for Insurance Office of America. John founded the first California branch office of IOA when he joined the organization in 2005. He has since ascended in leadership, holding regional president and Western Division president roles. In 2010, John was appointed to the IOA Board of Directors.

John began his insurance career in 1985 and founded his own agency by 1994, which was later acquired by a prominent firm in 2001. He went on to develop his expertise as he served with several top-tier brokerages in both Northern and Southern California. As a practicing insurance producer, John focuses on providing his clients with best-in-class property and casualty risk management and insurance solutions, specializing in design- and construction-related firms.

John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from California State University, and he has been a frequent speaker for various industry loss prevention and risk management seminars for more than two decades.
