It is a pleasure to announce that effective September 12th, 2012, Marsha Wendt, Commercial Lines Director, has been named Branch Operations Manager for the Florida Branch offices. Marsha will oversee all IOA Florida locations, staffing and lead the current branch management team within the state.

Marsha has been with IOA for the past 5 years working in our Home Office and Longwood Branch overseeing commercial operations for Longwood, multiple processing areas, training, Epic implementation, and more.

Marsha’s 30+ years experience in the insurance industry working for Zurich and CNA prior to leading the IOA Longwood branch/Home Office operations provides her with the expertise to oversee and work directly with our branch personnel and producers.

Marsha stated: “I am very excited to be taking on this new role within IOA to work directly with our Florida Branch offices. Over the past 5 years, I have had the opportunity to work with our staff and producers to understand the “agency-side” of the business, assist in determining processes, procedures and best practices to assist with the continued growth of our company. This experience will be beneficial as I work with the individual branch producers and employees to determine training needs, book of business reviews, workflow analysis and teaming opportunities.”
