About Katie

Katie joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in October 2025, bringing more than 15 years of insurance industry experience. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in personal insurance solutions. Licensed in multiple states, Katie also holds a life insurance license and a Series 6 registration.

Prior to joining IOA, Katie spent 10 years as the owner and operator of a captive insurance agency, where she built lasting client relationships and guided businesses through complex insurance decisions. She also played an instrumental role in helping launch an independent insurance agency, leading the development of operational systems, business processes, and carrier relationships that helped establish a strong foundation for long-term growth.

Katie views her role as more than simply providing insurance products. She is committed to partnering with clients to understand their unique goals and challenges, helping them identify opportunities to protect their dreams while supporting continued growth and success. Her experience as both an agency owner and insurance advisor allows her to provide practical, strategic guidance that extends beyond policy placement.

Recognized for her leadership within the business community, Katie was named Small Business Leader of the Year by the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce in 2020. She remains actively involved in local business development and currently serves as Vice President of her Business Network International (BNI) chapter in Ponte Vedra Beach, where she works closely with fellow professionals to foster networking, collaboration, and community engagement.
