Robert Hamilton joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in 2000, working directly with the three most senior brokers in the Atlanta, Georgia, branch location. After three years at IOA, Robert became a broker and currently serves as vice president of the Atlanta branch and is the chair for IOA’s National Advisory Council. His areas of expertise surround complex property and casualty accounts, including but not limited to mercantile, multifamily/condominiums, industrial, manufacturing, construction, HR, and hospitality-related risks.

Robert previously served as an instructor for the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia (IIAG) and held a seat on the IIAG Coverage Council Committee, where he worked with other colleagues on various coverage issues brought for review by the State Department of Insurance.

Robert earned his bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia.
