Chris Sundstrom joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in August 2025 as a commercial lines insurance producer. With over two decades of experience in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry, Chris focuses on a client-centric approach centered around developing and strengthening partnerships. He aims to be a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging deep industry knowledge and market insights to build long-term relationships. Whether navigating complex coverage structures or identifying emerging risks, Chris works to deliver proactive guidance and reliable advocacy.

Prior to joining IOA, Chris held key roles at national insurance carriers, where he was responsible for office expansions on both the East Coast and West Coast, developing underwriting and marketing strategies with hundreds of insurance brokerage partners.

Chris’ foundation is grounded in hands-on underwriting across multiple lines—including property, general liability, auto, and professional liability—paired with a strong background in marketing and sales. This combination allows him to approach client needs holistically and deliver tailored insurance programs that align with their risk tolerance and business goals.

Chris earned his bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College. He holds the certified insurance counselor (CIC) designation, underscoring his commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence in a constantly evolving industry.
