Scot Robertson joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in July 2001, specializing in creating proprietary risk programs and securing insurance and reinsurance terms for complex, unusual, or “exotic” risks. With more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry and capital markets, Scot has developed extensive expertise in sales, financial and risk analysis, and working with the London Markets, specifically Lloyd’s syndicates.

Prior to joining IOA, Scot began collaborating with a managing director at IOA, assisting in the management of a fleet workers compensation program that supported over 1,200 drivers for a Fortune 1000 global provider of integrated transportation management solutions. He now focuses on alternative market programs (London and offshore captive markets) and the ongoing management of domestic and London market business for transportation clients.

Scot’s portfolio expanded to include a high-value trip transit cargo program, an aggregate deductible program, and the creation and management of a unique offshore captive motorsports racing program, along with large-scale commercial property, PEO, hospitality, and medical durables businesses.
