Chauncey joined Insurance Office of America (IOA) in January of 2026 and is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. He began his career in 2011 working as a marketing rep for a national insurance carrier, producing and managing accounts for main street businesses in property, casualty, group health, life & disability, and coordinating estate planning.

Prior to joining IOA, Chauncey spent five years with a large international broker honing his skills and coverage expertise while also developing as a leader in the construction insurance & risk management space. He is a PEAK Award winner and holds the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) and Professional Workers’ Compensation Advisor (PWCA) designations.

His primary focus at IOA is serving privately owned construction, real estate & development, and transportation companies.  He serves by developing their ability to evaluate, manage, and control commercial insurance while creating leverage through solutions-based risk management. The risk landscape is a rapidly changing environment for privately owned businesses, so his goal in each client interaction is to help them identify how to advance and improve their long-term protection.

Chauncey has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, University College.
