Del Vath joined IOA in February 2026 as a Risk Management Advisor, bringing several years of industry experience to his role. Del offers broad insurance knowledge with particular expertise in the transportation, manufacturing, and contracting industries. He partners closely with clients to understand their operations, identify exposures, and develop practical strategies tailored to their unique business environments.

Del defines success as helping his clients build strong, proactive risk management practices that stabilize their overall cost of risk, reduce volatility, and support long-term business objectives. His approach blends proactive loss prevention, data-driven analysis, and relationship-based advocacy with carriers to deliver strategies that extend beyond insurance placement.

Serving as both an advocate and a strategic partner, Del is known for thinking creatively beyond a conventional approach to address complex risk challenges. He takes pride in delivering thoughtful, customized solutions that aligns with each client’s operational and financial goals.

In addition to his professional work, Del is a graduate of the University of Toledo and has served on the Board of Directors for Mobile Meals of Toledo for several years.
